About me
I’m Shreya Sharma-Tickoo, a psychotherapist, lifelong student of
philosophy, and mother. I feel deeply privileged to work in this field-
to sit with people as they navigate questions, uncertainties, and
moments in life that don’t always have immediate answers.
My understanding of suffering is shaped not only by professional
training but also by personal encounters with uncertainty and loss.
These experiences deepened my belief that pain can carry within it
the seeds of growth, and that life’s most difficult moments often
invite us to ask deeper questions about meaning and purpose.
Over time, I’ve found myself drawn to ways of working that allow
space for reflection — where therapy is not only about reducing
symptoms, but also about understanding what one’s experiences
might mean in the larger context of their life.
My work is informed by
existential psychology, Viktor Frankl’s
logotherapy, and Indian philosophical thought,
I offer therapy that invites reflection on life’s deeper questions-not
only to ease suffering, but to discover a more meaningful way of living.
Over the past nine years, I have worked across counselling settings,
private practice, and teaching, supporting people as they explore
questions of identity, loss, freedom, and direction.
